  Relocation of the Group’s Headquarters

The effects of Yi-Chiu Group’s diverse arrangements, such as investments in the insulating and lubricating oil manufacture plants, as well as the extensive distribution of onshore and offshore bunkering channels, are beginning to make positive differences . With growing revenues and expanding business area, , the Group has decided to establish the headquarters of the group by centralizing the hard-to-use offices for the purpose of effective management and operations.

Originally, the headquarters of Yi-Chiu Group was located at the building of a gas station, but was relocated to Tucheng City, Taipei County. In view of expanding business, the Group decided to purchase its own office building, which covers an area of about more than 21,600 square feet this year.

Three decades ago, Chin Chia-Hong, founder of the Group, initiated the insulating and lubricating oil business with 5,000 NT dollar raised by his mother, Yuan Yang Chin Cheng. He then engaged himself in the gas station business, becoming one of the earliest privately-owned gas station operators in Taiwan. To prove the safety of Tucheng Gas Station and the headquarters of the gas stations at Sindian, he located his home and office above the same building. This is the first time the headquarters moved into an office building.

Yi-Chiu is an important ally to the Chinese Petroleum Corporation. Two years ago, Yi-Chiu leased 13 of its gas stations to Formosa Petrochemical Corporation for a record high NTD 2 billion rental for ten years while gas stations continued developing for Formosa Petrochemical Corporation. Currently, Yi-Chiu owns 15 gas stations, including those leased to Formosa Petrochemical Corporation. The biggest operating entity of Yi-Chiu Group is CPI, which is responsible for the marine bunkering business. With Yi-Chiu Chemical & Technical and Yi-Chiu Gas Stations considered, the total revenue of the Group may exceed NTD 3 billion this year.
